In September 2025, a group of passionate travelers embarked on an unforgettable journey through Sardinia---a land where culinary tradition, natural beauty, and warm hospitality come together in perfect harmony.

Guests savored the island’s rich and rustic flavors, from handmade Lorighitta pasta and creamy Pecorino cheese to freshly grilled seafood and bold local wines like Cannonau and Vermentino. Each meal told a story rooted in Sardinian history and heritage.

A highlight of the tour was a breathtaking cruise through the La Maddalena Archipelago. Guests swam in turquoise coves, and strolled through the charming village of La Maddalena.

The Best of September

With golden sunlight, warm days, and the first hints of autumn in the air, September offered the perfect setting. The quieter post-summer atmosphere allowed for a deeper connection to the island, its people, and its traditions.

Many Sardinian cheeses (like pecorino sardo, fiore sardo or even the controversial cazu marzu) are in perfect maturing stage in September. The harvest season also begins especially for the grapes and late-summer produce. Also think roasted suckling pig (porceddu) handmade culurgiones, seadas with local honey, and pane caracau.
